CANORA COMMUNITY LEAGUE

*Canora Community League is not accepting any new bookings until further notice.

Our hall accommodates up to 271 guests, ensuring ample space for your event. We have a kitchen and a separate bar area. Outside of the hall is a playground for any restless wedding guests to burn off some steam. In the winter, step out behind the building onto our immaculate outdoor rinks.

Rates

Weekday Full Day Rental (M – F at 5pm)	$400
Weekend Overnight (Friday or Saturday night)	$500
Full Weekend Rental	$750
Additional Hours	$75/hour
Damage Deposit on every rental	$750

Payments for security and rental can be made with credit card (processing fees apply), e-transfer, cash, money order or certified cheque. Our current rates include the base rental fee, plus a damage deposit of $750.00, due when keys are picked up for rental. 

All hall rentals require $2 million liability insurance with “The Canora Community League” listed as co-insured. You can obtain this from any insurance company you already do business with.

• The balance of the rental fee and the damage deposit are due two weeks before the rental (both will be cashed). Damage deposits will be returned within two weeks following the rental date.
• The Canora Community League reserves the right to ask for full disclosure of what the rental of the hall will be used for.
• The Canora Community League reserves the right to rent only to those who meet the rental requirements.
• The Canora Community League reserves the right to ask for a $100 reservation fee. At least 30 days cancellation notice must be given otherwise the reservation fee is forfeited.
• Alcohol is not permitted on the premises unless a valid liquor license is obtained and displayed. You can apply online for your event liquor license here.
• The renter is required to provide confirmation of short term rental insurance coverage and/or host liquor liability insurance from a licensed insurance agent or broker for no less than two million dollars ($2,000,000) and name the ‘Canora Community League’ as an “additional insured”. Check with your personal homeowner’s/renter’s insurance or commercial insurance provider.
• The Canora Community League reserves the right to cancel any function that is deemed inappropriate or harmful to community members and does not meet all contractual obligations and Canora Hall Rental Policies. Rates may change without notice.
